Agatha Christie's Towards Zero Special Preview with Hay Youth Theatre

Rehearsals are well underway for the Hay Senior Youth Theatre production of Towards Zero by Agatha Christie, adapted for the stage by local writer and director Janine Sharp. There will be four performances in Clyro Village Hall on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March. This special one-hour event that follows the pop-up Cafe will provide a sneak preview and give a flavour of the murder mystery play that is set in 1949.

Towards Zero has been funded by National Lottery Wales and PAVO Youth-Led Grant Scheme. The youngsters are so excited that they get to perform in a traditional style murder mystery, as well as design and make the set, props and costumes. The cast of twenty 11-18 year-olds chose this play themselves and applied for the PAVO grant, which they were awarded in September.
